Love, Angel, Music, Baby this collection is supah supah crazy! …But I mean that in the best way possible.

Aside from the clad of black and darker hues which are expected for F/W collections, Stefani and her designers stepped their game up adding geometric prints and an unusual array of colors—And I’m sure when Fall 2012 rolls around, these unique colors will seem reminiscent of the neon craze that is currently sweeping the Spring 2012 trends. (And I really really hope color/color blocking stays as dominant as it is now… but that’s another story.)

So this collection surely enough is as eclectic as it gets when comparing to other designers. But what I’ve really come to appreciate the most about Stefani’s line is unique her perspective being that her background is music. From her days as a pop sensation, she has always made a statement, which has ultimately helped her to create singular image as a coveted celebrity personality. Her collection this time around only emulated her beloved quirkiness and fearlessness when it’s come to her art. The use of prints paired with more classically tailored blazers, skirts and jackets allows for a fun twist on a usually serious and sophisticated look. And we can’t forget that the colors also add an element of playfulness.

Once again the artistic pioneer, Gwen Stefani (and with the help of her team I’m sure) have once again created clothing that is both daring, fun and that seems to be reminiscent of the designer’s fashion preferences. With this retro and graphically-appealing collection, we definitely will holla back girl.

For me, nothing is more thrilling than a runway swept up in glorious, glamorous gowns. Watching Monique Ihuillier’s FW2012 show not only filled my soul with joy but sparked my imagination with all the romantic places this heroine would go… Can I please come too?
